Victoria ‘Tori’ Van Dusen-Roos

Summary of Experience
Tori joined DBS in May of 1993 after graduation from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in communications. After graduating on a Friday, she drove cross-country and started work at the agency Monday morning because it was always her aspiration to work in the agency alongside her father. Tori trained at DBS by spending a significant amount of time learning and performing each job function in the office and finds there is a real advantage to this experience as she understands how the entire enterprise works.

In her current role of COO, Tori is responsible for overseeing all of Operations, Finance, IT, Underwriting and HR. Tori stays very active in the industry and currently serves as immediate Past Chair of the NAILBA Executive Board of Directors and was the 2021 NAILBA Chairman’s Award recipient. She also serves on the Field Advisory Councils of several insurance companies and is a member of the LIMRA Brokerage Committee. She is a current LIBRA Insurance Partners Board Member, past President of LIFE, Inc., and has served on numerous NAILBA committees over the course of her career.

Tori lives in Shorewood, Minnesota with her husband Greg and two beautiful children, Parker and Piper. Most of her spare time is spent with her family but she still finds time for her passions, cooking, golfing, boating, dining with friends and gardening around the house.
