Summary of Experience
Jann Varner has been with DBS over 20 years, first as a Case Design Analyst, then as the Case Design Team Manager, before taking on her current role of Director. Prior to joining the DBS team, she worked for Prudential as an agent, and before choosing a career in the insurance industry, she worked in television and movie production for 5 years following college.

Objectives
A key component of the Case Design Team, Jann leads by example, taking her role of managing the team very seriously. In her work with established customers and on larger cases, she is very detail oriented and thorough, and she’ll work to find the best solution she can for the end client. Jann has developed close relationships with a number of long-time advisors, and she enjoys the personal touch she’s able to give them.

Professional & Educational Affiliations
Jann has her variable and insurance licenses along with her FLMI designation. Jann and her husband have two daughters and enjoy cooking and traveling, particularly exploring the north shore of Minnesota.
