Summary of Experience
Mahrukh Khawaja became a member of the DBS team in 2018, originally as an HR Generalist before moving into the Director role in July, 2020. Prior to joining DBS, Mahrukh served in a variety of Human Resources roles, most notably Target Corporation as an HR Team Member and US Bank, as an HR Administrator.

Objectives
Mahrukh takes responsibility for a number of employee HR functions, including recruitment, new employee onboarding, workplace safety, employee relations, labor law compliance and training. She also helps manage the cloud-based human capital management system that includes HR, talent, time, tax and benefits administration. Her personal approach to HR is to strive to help not only the company she works for but the employees she supports as well, all while working within the prescribed laws and regulations.

Professional & Educational Affiliations
Mahrukh has earned her Senior Certified Professional Certification from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP), an achievement reserved for individuals who have a work history of at least three years performing strategic level HR/HR-related duties.
