DBS Announces the Addition of Trevor Johnson as Regional Sales Director for its Northwest Region

Minneapolis, MN (April 15, 2024) – Diversified Brokerage Services (DBS), a national Brokerage General Agency specializing in life, annuities, long-term care and disability insurance, has announced the addition of Trevor Johnson, CLU, CLTC as Regional Sales Director for its Northwest Region, effective April 15, 2024. Trevor will be responsible for the states of Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Northern California, and Alaska and will report to Chuck Anderson, Vice President, National Sales. With over 23 years in the financial services industry, Trevor brings an extensive background that will be a true asset to the team.

Trevor began his career as a financial advisor with American Express Financial Advisors (now Ameriprise) in 2001 and moved to the internal life and disability insurance sales desk in 2003. After 10 years there, he switched gears to serve as the Life Brokerage Manager for Guardian Life Insurance in the Midwest. In 2015, he moved to the Seattle area to assume the role of Regional Vice President for RiverSource Insurance for the Pacific Northwest, positioning him well to pivot to this new role.

Trevor has an extensive knowledge of life insurance products and strategies, and he has an educational style to relate them to both advisors and clients alike. He enjoys working on all types of cases, from basic protection needs to advanced estate and business owner planning situations. He has a “client first” mentality which has earned him several awards for advisor satisfaction and top sales among his peers.

Trevor graduated with honors from Augsburg University in Minneapolis with degrees in Economics and Business Administration. He holds his Series 7, 66 and life insurance licenses. He has also earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Certified Long-Term Care (CLTC) designations.
