DBS Welcomes Bill Brauer
Diversified Brokerage Services Names William W. Brauer, Jr. as Point of Sale – Advanced Markets Senior Consultant
Minneapolis, MN – February 22, 2021 – Diversified Brokerage Services, Inc. (DBS) announced the addition of William W. Brauer, Jr. to its external sales team as a Point of Sale – Advanced Markets Senior Consultant. In this newly created position, Bill will focus his efforts on attracting and retaining advisors in specialty markets and will provide personalized expertise in advanced life insurance sales concepts.

Bill started his career in the insurance industry at The Equitable, where he quickly rose to District Manager. He then joined AIG to run all of their insurance business in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota and Iowa.
Recognizing that the highly affluent market was underserved in the industry, Bill founded Legacy Quote in 1998, where he provided strategic insurance planning for prominent business leaders, attorneys and physicians. During this time, Bill earned high distinction for his achievements from Lincoln Financial, Travelers, Transamerica and United of Omaha.

A native of Edina, Minnesota, Bill earned an Economics degree at the University of Michigan, where he excelled in hockey. A former draft choice of the Montreal Canadiens, Bill formerly served as President of the Edina Hockey Association. He also has served on the Edina Recycling Commission and the Board of the National Association of Life Underwriters.
